THE COLLECTOR IS PRESENT is the new spring gathering in the galleries, a parallel programme by Barcelona Gallery Weekend that focuses on the figure of the collector and his or her relationship with the gallerist through a special programme resulting from the collaboration between the two agents.

For the first edition of The Collector is Present, 24 collectors have been invited by 17 gallerists to intervene in their programmes for a weekend (19-20 May 2023). As a result, The Collector is Present brought together a special agenda of exhibitions, interventions, meetings, dialogues and walks, among others, jointly developed by collectors and gallerists, and aimed at the general public.
