Lola Lasurt (Barcelona, 1983) works with displaced
time aspects, avoiding historical doctrine as an open and self-critical
enterprise and formalizing her artistic investigations through pictorial
installation, video, and through collaborative processes.

Graduated in Fine Arts from
the University of Barcelona, she is currently completing a Master's in Art
Research from the Royal College of Art in London. She has been an artist-in-residence
at HISK, Ghent; La Ene, Buenos Aires; Kunsthuis SYB, Friesland; Greatmore Art
Studios, Cape Town and Hangar, Barcelona. Nominated for the Young Belgian Art Prize'15,
she received the Miquel Casablancas'15 prize (Sant Andreu Contemporani,
Barcelona) and the Fundació Ciutat de Valls '17 prize. In 2018, she was part of
Generación'18 (Fundación Montemadrid / La Casa Encendida) and won the prize at
the 15th Naturgy Art Show (MAC, A Coruña). In 2019, she received the Leonardo
Scholarship for Researchers and Cultural Creators from the BBVA Foundation.
