Site-Specific Conversation x Barcelona Gallery Weekend 2023 #7

Site-Specific Conversation offers a series of conversations with artists and gallerists participating in Barcelona Gallery Weekend 2023 that are weekly published during the summer.

The proposal once again takes a novel, this time written by Patti Smith, Just Kids, to focus on "growing up together" and delve into the beginnings, professionalisation, coexisting with the demands of the art market and collaborative dynamics, among other aspects.

In the last conversation of the series, we spoke with Anne-Lise Coste and Alex Nogueras, co-director alongside Rebeca Blanchard of NoguerasBlanchard gallery. Anne-Lise and Alex met thanks to a very good mutual friend. From their first encounter, they felt they had connected. The foundation of their enduring long-distance relationship has been their mutual appreciation for each other's work and a sense of being equally valued.
