ADN Galeria

ADN Galeria was established in 2003 with the aim of creating a hybrid platform, for both commercial mediation and cultural contribution, with the objective of promoting current artistic trends. The programme focuses on productions that prioritise content, positioning itself as a semantic reflection on the contextual dynamics in which they are generated. 

The gallery has established a policy of working collaboratively with intellectuals and professionals in the sector to enrich the programme and promote the dynamism of the most current visual arts. It also supports emerging collectors, with continuous and personalised advice.

Julio Anaya (Málaga, 1987) reproduces masterpieces of Western art on worn cardboard and graffiti-laden walls. In this new exhibition at ADN Galeria he seeks, between homage and demystification, to reproduce works by three of the most important figures in the history of art: Picasso, Miró and Tàpies. For his part, Eugenio Merino (Madrid, 1975) denounces, through his work, the power structures hidden in the notions of monument, commemoration and national myth. The first one does it by means of the exact replica of great works of these myths of culture, profaned when they are captured in vulgar supports and typical of urban art. The second uses irony and sarcasm, thanks to hyperrealistic productions that combine sculpture with the domestic object.
